Pre-Covid the plans for The Butchery Kitchen looked very different. The two owners, who have been in the food industry for over 35 years, were scouting for premises across west central Scotland to open their first butchery café & restaurant, combining their love of great food and customer service.
Their initial focus was on opening a restaurant first and then an online butchery & delicatessen sometime in the future. When Covid hit their plans quickly changed and they spent the first few weeks of lockdown supplying friends and family across the region through their existing networks and supply chain relationships. The business then went online, and they have never looked back.
