A farm shop and cafe in the heart of rural Lanarkshire.
Carmichael Estate is Scotland’s oldest farming family business at the source of the Carmichael name.
Located in South Lanarkshire near Biggar the farm butchery produces award winning “single malt” meats including venison, beef and lamb. The meats are available in the farm shop, are served in their bistro/tearoom, and sold at farmers’ markets.

Carmichael Estate are passionate about food and their farm shop is an expression of this. Local and fresh seasonal produce provides traceability, accountability and guaranteed quality. The staff will guide you through the range of local products and assist you with recipe ideas.
