Glen Heather Honey are a a small family run beekeeping business based in Gardenhall, East Kilbride.
They produce a range of honeys and have won numerous awards for all their different flavours of honey, including the prestigious Great Taste 2022 top award for their heather honeycomb
Pure Honey.
The family started the business in 2016 after the owner Chris developed a passion for honey and bee keeping. In 2016 they got their first two hives in the garden, then six, then 47 then over 100 and it has continued to grow.
Glen Heather Honey is the families dedication to bees. Their passion is to create the strongest, healthiest and happiest honey bees, that produce the finest artisan honey in the world.
The honey is pure in its most natural raw form, unprocessed and straight from the hives.
Beekeeping.
The Glen Heather Honey logo captures the importance of Scottish honey, especially from the heather moors, where the water is often very pure. The bees then turn this water into honey via the nectar from the plants.
