At Overton Farm, the cattle, sheep and pigs are bred and reared naturally in the beautiful Clyde Valley. All the meat is prepared and butchered in the on-site, state of the art butchery where any special cuts can be butchered to order.
In the farm shop, choose from a wide range of beef, veal, lamb, pork, chicken and bacon as well as a wide variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables. The Oven restaurant is open 7 days a week serving light bites, main meals and cakes, all made from produce available in the shop.

The Young family have been at Overton Farm for over 40 years. Their cattle are bred and raised naturally in the beautiful Clyde Valley.
All their meat is prepared and butchered in their on-site butchery where any special cuts can be butchered to order. You can choose from a wide range of beef, lamb, pork, chicken, bacon and a variety of cold meats.
The Overton Farm Shop promotes sensible farming and both animals and crops are matured slowly and naturally for more taste and quality.
Using their beef, they make all their own steak pies, sausage rolls, mince rounds, corned beef and a customer favourite, potted meat. They also make their own range of jams, jellies and chutneys.
Overton stock all their own eggs, produced from their hens, which have always been a part of Overton.
Local and seasonal.
The Farm Shop sells a wide variety of seasonal fruit and vegetables which are not uniform in shape and size like the more commonly available modified varieties but do boast excellent taste.
The Oven at Overton restaurant opened in 2014. It‘s a large restaurant - bright and open - with tables offering plenty of space from the neighbouring table. The menu is varied and reasonably priced.
The restaurant now has the added bonus of the Tolbooth Arts at The Oven, a beautiful collection of works from local artists.
