Selina Cairns runs a dairy Sheep and Goat farm and cheesemaking business, Errington Cheese Ltd alongside her husband Andrew Cairns in South Lanarkshire near Biggar.
Selina is passionate about local and sustainable food and drink, opening up dialogue between everyone in the Food and drink sector so we can work together to improve the perception and awareness of the high quality Food and Drink being produced in Lanarkshire and make the most of our central position in Scotland to improve local tourism to the area as well as stimulating sales of Food and Drink produced both in Lanarkshire and nationally.
Central to this is to ensure the people of Lanarkshire have access to local produce that is nourishing and sustainable, encourage young people into the industry and create a lasting food legacy to benefit the generations to come.

Colin McLean - McLean's Gin
Together with his partner Jessica, self-proclaimed "Head Ginologist" Colin McLean heads up operations at McLean's Gin; an artisan spirits producer on the outskirts of Strathaven.
Having relocated from south Glasgow in 2018, the McLean's are settling into Lanarkshire's slower pace of life, with a significant focus on building positive working relationships with other Lanarkshire food & drink businesses including the establishment of the Lanarkshire Gin Alliance.
When not producing gin, Colin can usually be found wandering beside hedgerows and roaming local forestry in search of new botanicals and ingredients, being beaten at football by his young twin girls or "trying to clear his inbox" (to no avail) with a flat-white in one of Strathaven's eateries.
