Lazy Day
Lazy Day was founded by Dr. Sally Beattie and Emer Bustard in 2006.
As professional food scientists with personal experiences of food intolerances, they are dedicated to creating high-quality treats everyone can enjoy. Sally, who has multiple food intolerances, and Emer, a coeliac, understand the challenges of restricted diets.
Their bakery is entirely gluten, dairy, egg, and nut-free. They hand bake cakes, biscuits, and tray bakes using only the finest ingredients, like real Belgian chocolate. Their mission is to bring relaxation and happiness to those with food intolerances or restricted diets. With their expertise, Sally and Emer have crafted recipes that make indulgence accessible to all. Now, everyone can have their cake and eat it too!

Jackton Distillery (RAER Scotch Whisky Ltd)
Established in 2020, RAER Scotch Whisky Ltd
is an independent, family-owned business,
operating from their base at Jackton Distillery,
nestled in the Scottish Lowlands.
Once the site of the family farm, Jackton Distillery creates a number of premium spirits including a range of unique gins, a characterful Scottish vodka and a collection of premium, cask-finished Blended Scotch Whisky expressions, with their "Inaugural" Single Malt Scotch Whisky patiently resting in their on-site Bonded Warehouse for future release.
The Distillery operates a "grain to glass; seed to sip" ethos, with their own barley fields and on-site water source providing the key ingredients for their whisky production and their malthouse now nearing completion/commissioning. Their barley and water are combined with yeast and fermented for 7 days to create their unique New-Make-Spirit, which is then matured on site in an exquisite selection of casks from every corner of the world. Spent grain from their production feeds the cattle on the now-relocated family farm, bringing the production process full circle.
Complimented by its on-site shop, tasting bar and accommodation, Jackton Distillery will open its doors to the public in August 2024 and aims to be an accessible tourist destination for both locals and tourists alike.

Tarbraxus Distillers Limited – trading as Pentland Hills Gin
Established in 2018 Tarbraxus Distillers
is based in the western end of
the Pentland Hills.
Run by Tabatha, Phil and Panza the Chocolate Labrador the company produces the award-winning Pentland Hills Gin. The distillery is operated on a 13-acre small holding where some of the botanicals are grown, including Scottish juniper which has been re-established on the land.
The gin is distilled in very small quantities and all the work is undertaken by Phil and Tabatha. Four gins, Original, Navy, Party and Firework are offered along with a refill service. All the gin bottles are hand etched and individually numbered, this allows them to be returned to the distillery, washed and refilled with the customers choice of gin.
The gin is then either delivered to the local area or returned by Royal Mail. Clearly size doesn’t matter, Pentland Hills Gin has won and amazing number of awards and we are particularly proud of our Firework edition which was Scottish Gin of the year in 2022 and our Naval Gin which won 3 starts at the UK Great Taste Awards.

Cadzow Bakehouse
Cadzow Bakehouse
Established in 2019 from our dining room and we received the keys to our Quarry St. shop three days prior to the first lockdown back in 2020.
After lots of hard work, a few delays and juggling with a worldwide pandemic, Quarry St was opened on 17th June 2020.
We're a family-based bakehouse that believes in the value of homemade, additive-free, handcrafted, quality baked goods; that not only look great on the plate but taste great.
We like to keep it simple while emphasising taste, quality and service.
We’ve grown since 2019 and are now in the process of moving all our artisanal baking to our new production unit. This will allow us to provide more handmade, quality products for customers in our shop, while allowing us to support other small businesses in Lanarkshire by extending our individually procured grocery and off-license offerings.
